We are glad to see that you are interested in joining our ranks. Carpe Imperium is a clan rich with history, diversity, skill and personality. We possess a deep appreciation for the Unreal Tournament game, the UT community and most of all, the people within it. We play hard and we play to win, without losing sight of the fact that this is a game and we are all here to have fun together. That being said, we are always on the look out for new talented recruits who possess similar qualities as our own: skill, personality, maturity and good sportsmanship.

Carpe Imperium draws its strength from its members. We all pitch in for the betterment of the whole. Besides playing the game, each member has responsibilities that help the clan in small or large ways. Some players train our recruits and clan members to become better players. Others take care of our website and servers to ensure we are informed and up to date with community news and league requirements.

Before proceeding, please take some time to think about what you have seen and heard of us. We are good players that show respect and sportsmanship to all in the community. We do not take recruiting lightly. We respect our current members and all that they do for each of us and the clan as a whole. Therefore, we only look for people with dedication, longevity and mutual respect in mind.

Register on our forums, where you can look in the 'Join Us' section. We will have a sticky post that will explain which teams and game types we are recruiting for. From time to time we may not be recruiting, but fear not. With the right skills and qualities, exceptions can be made.

Then make a post in our 'Join Us' section. Please supply us with the following information: Game Handle, Real Name (optional), Geographical Location, Game Type Preferences (AS, BR, CTF, DM, TDM, ONS), UT Experience (How long have you been playing) and then just tell us about yourself, why you want to join [Ci], etc...

You can always find a [Ci] member on IRC. Our resources page lists our channels. You can also find us on the battlefield. Add [Ci]* to your buddies list inside Unreal Tournament. Find us on a server and join in the fun. The more we talk to you and see you play, the more likely we are to get you in on practices, interclan and community scrims.

Carpe Imperium uses Team Speak 2 for our voice communication. All members are required to have a headset and TS2 installed on their computer.

We will enter you in to our training program. You will wear the [Ci-t] tag to let everyone know you are new to the clan. During your training period you will get to know everyone in the clan and of course we will train you in any areas that you request or need help in. Once we decide you have become comfortable enough with the clan we will make you a full member wearing the [Ci] tag and you will be invited to join in on ladder matches.
